Welcome to San Diego Monica and Ben! A beautiful, fun and lively couple from Chicago to wed next year Spring April 2012…Congrats you two! They’ve met at Bloomingdales and since then it’s “in the bag”.

Reunited with a childhood friend Liz for her fashion photo shoot! The shoot called for a serene back drop: Balboa Park – check….and a stunning Liz – check! Along with her beautiful smile, 3 dimples [that's a triple threat in my book

Succulent Spring filled with blossoming veggies, fruits and an orb botanical garden! The apricot tree is preparing to give me a full basket of delicious goodness. The broccoli, chives, cilantro and garlic will soon be ready to harvest for a savory dish. The colors and flora beauty are enough to inspire and so here are shots taken from our garden.
When I first saw these botanical orbs at my chiropractor (Chiropractique in North Park) I had to have them! I purchased the materials at Pigment (also in North Park; love the green shop!) and Armstrong for the succulents. I was on a mission to make my own and hang in our MTP office. Elliot of course insisted on adding his friendly little dinosaur to dwell in (meet “Dino Elliot”; yes he needs to work on his creativity, LOL). To Spring and all its beauty! {M}
Finally updated pictures of MT! We decided to turn the camera to us and finally put a new picture of Mel and Tim on our website…with a touch of fun. Our recently replaced shoe shot left a bit of mystery and much confusion of who Mel and Tim are…the soulful duo in the 1960′s? Souful maybe, but not the duo in the ’60s era. A Mr. and Mrs. duo that is.

We’re doing a little bit of up keep here at MTP! To start we are keepin’ it simple and green. The goal is to use sustainable and recycled materials while maintaining quality and value. Check out our new “green” CD packaging! This get up allows room for some fun and creativity too because I just can’t stop creating! Each CD package is uniquely crafted with Devine baker’s twine and stamps inspired by the photo shoot. Plus…we recently attended a wedding photographer’s convention/tradeshow (WPPI 2011 in Las Vegas) and come across some lovely wedding vendors and met up with current vendors that we love. Look out for additions to our product line i.e. bamboo photo wall art; bamboo and sugar cane fine art photo prints! – {M}
We had a blast, met up with premiere photog colleagues, got a sneak peak of some cool new stuff from our vendors (check out photo below: rubbed SmugMug’s Nick’s awesome beard for LV luck) and tested out the latest photography gear (found out straight from Nikon that they’re coming out with a new pro DSLR to replace/update the D700! Should be out sometime this year!) at the 2011 WPPI wedding convention/tradeshow in Las Vegas. Wished I took more pics, but I just couldn’t get my hands off some sweet photo schwag. You think there was an adrenaline ride for some of those lines! Too working hard and playing hard! – {M}

Powers and Guevarra (Mel’s sister) family at Big Bear! We all had a fantastic time in the snow; snow tubbing, snowman and snow balls. Time went by so fast! We started early in the day and had to take the longer “scenic” route due to shorter route closure, but it was worth it. We captured beautiful snow capped sights and heavenly cloud views along the way. As we arrived to our destination, it was non-stop fun going down the slopes on a snow tube, naughty Elliot throwing snow balls at me and making magical snowmans. Very inspire by nature’s beauty and can’t wait to return for more! Thanks to the Guevarras for good family times!
