The Powers – Snow Tubbing at Big Bear

Powers and Guevarra (Mel’s sister) family at Big Bear!  We all had a fantastic time in the snow; snow tubbing, snowman and snow balls.  Time went by so fast!  We started early in the day and had to take the longer “scenic” route due to shorter route closure, but it was worth it.  We captured beautiful snow capped sights and heavenly cloud views along the way. As we arrived to our destination, it was non-stop fun going down the slopes on a snow tube, naughty Elliot throwing snow balls at me and making magical snowmans.  Very inspire by nature’s beauty and can’t wait to return for more!  Thanks to the Guevarras for good family times!

Found Favorites of 2010 – Elliot’s Dandelion

My all time favorite photo shoot. Not because it’s Elliot being darn cute again :) Because it defined Mel and Tim Photography. The photo below is not new (shot in Feb 2010), but is pretty iconic to MTP. This photo shoot inspired me to enjoy life…my family…and my work. As a tribute to 2010 I had to share this photo shoot with you to hopefully make you fall in love with love again… {M}

Analog Roots: Dreamy Diana F+ Camera

For Christmas 2010 Santa Tim gifted moi the fun Diana F+ medium format film camera! Oh what fun with the dreamy and dirty film effects that these cult Diana cameras are known for.   Used more for my leisure for the off beat moments with the family, friends and travels! Although my very first camera was a 35mm…what a whole different experience!  The makers introduced fun new accessories to go with it i.e. splitzer (splits images to your creative liking)! The Diana opened up new adventures and rekindled my nostalgic sentiment for my love of film.  Keep checking back for more of my personal fun Diana F+ shoots.  XOXO Analog at Heart {M}
